I just started using Mcguires NXT Spray Tire shine. It comes in a green aerosol can and works perfect. No runs, no splatter, quick drying and looks amazing. Here is a pic, not that good, but it shows the tire a lil

For a spray, I like the Maguiars Hot Shine (Aerosol!).

My favorite premium dressing is Zaino Z16. My favorite all purpose dressing is Meguiar's Natural Shine. My favorite budget dressing is original Armor All.
I ALWAYS apply tire dressing with tire swipes to ensure an even coat and to prevent any chance of sling.

FWIW, a 2" paint brush works well too. Been using that for the last year and a half and don't have any problems with the dressing slinging off.

poorboys natural look, no sling at all, wipe it on twice for a nice sheen.
use a yellow foam pad, cant stand the swipes, get better coverage in letters, edge of tread with the pad...
going to try the poorboys tire dressing soon.

Tropicare came out with a new tire dressing. I hear it lasts a long time, I know one person that has had it on their tires for 2 months on their daily driver. I just got some to try out so I'll put it to the test
