My hood didn't even fit in my 98 dodge dakota... well it did but on a angle with one side sticking out of the side. I don't see any chance of one fitting in a SUV.

How far do you have to drive to pick up the hood?

You could always drive there with no hood on your car and put the new hood on when you get there(as long as it doesn't rain). I'm not sure how legal it is and the only cars I've seen driving without a hood are beater's Just an idea i guess.

its like 200 miles away. i thought about it, but my original idea was to just leave my stock hood there when i get there. i dont know if i wanna do that cause the hood needs to be painted first and i would rather keep my stocker to avoid down time. i new idea is a minivan. i'm gonna take the dimensions this week and check it out. my uncles nissan quest is pretty big. it would probably fit on an angle.

When I picked up my SS hood I used an 01 Tahoe. It fit just fine in that. I just sold it this morning and used my 04 Dodge Ram. It fit right in the bed with no problems.
