LT1 fan shroud fit an LS1?

Since I will not be using the stock intake, I was wondering if I could clean up my radiator/latch area with an LT1 brushed aluminum fan shroud. But the sponsors that I have spok to do not know if it will fit.

Has anyone done this?

My question is will it fit with an FIPK intake, that is if I weld on the post
in front for the filter to attach to.
