Talking Pics Welcome- Camaro Back Panel painted

Hey guys thinkin of painting my back panel where the "camaro" logo is. Post pics if you know of or have a camaro with it painted. Any color schemes welcome. Thanks

You don't need to paint it - you can add logo in-lays like the picture of the SS has. I have them on my 2000 Z28 and it's definately a finishing touch.

Did everyone do this themselves or did you take it somewhere to have it done for you? I know it's a DIY project for some, but I was just interested to see who did it.

Some do some dont.....just depends on how "Talented", brave, stupid or rich you are

Ive heared of guys uing a rattle can t do their paint job.....

Scott I purchased a new panel took it to the local dealership they painted it for $50 WCA did a tech article on the install http://www.01pewterz28.com/tailpanel.htm

Did mine in the garage with expensive spray paint from a local body paint shop. It would help if the prep work was good. Thats probably what took me the longest. Make sure you prime it good.

Mine:


A local paint & body shop fiberglassed in (filled in) the Camaro inserts and painted it gloss black and I put a '69 Z/28 emblem in the center (I have them all the way around the car).
