pop up headlights make a grinding sound after turned off

pop up headlights make a grinding sound after turned off I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this... Yesterday when I turned my headlights off they made a pretty loud grinding sound what does this mean?

There is a sticky about it in the firebird section further down on the forums page. The plastic gear inside the headlight motor has stripped out. Dont stress yet it is an easy fix, just check out the sticky
