Default Advice for getting road marker paint off of car

I recently just bought an 02 Camaro SS and when I got it home, I noticed that it had speckles of white paint all down the passenger door and quarter panel. Seems either I or the previous owner ran over a wet white stripe on the highway and it speckled my car pretty good. It's not really noticable far away from the car but when you get up on it, you can really tell that something isn't right. Anyone got any good suggestions on how to get this off of the car?

I was thinking about trying to hit it with some cleaner wax or some type of rubbing compound, but the paint looks too go to start really scratching it up or having to repaint the whole car.

Anyone got any tricks or tips?

When I got road paint on my 98 Lumina LTZ, the only way I was able to get is off was to pick it off.

Your finger nail or and old credit card works well, be gentle and then rewax.

A miracle might help.... My mom drove through some of that stuff in her van a few years ago, it still looks just like the day she did it
