Default should i blackbird or should i not?

i have been back and forth for a while now about whether or not to get these stripes. if i do get them, i was thinking either gunmetal or silver to go with the privats and the CE badge and filler panel but as of now i am still undecided.
here's how the car sits now

i am also probably going to remove the door moldings and trans am emblems. so what do you guys think?

I say go with a dark gunmetal. It won't be so bright as to contrast the hood too much, but it will be subtle and stylish.

your car would look really nice with the stripes, assuming were talking about the ones that go on the SIDE of the actual ram air intakes. i say go for it, and i would paint the lower part of your rear bumper the same color if you havent done so already.

Don't remove those moldings no matter what they say! If they save you from even one door ding for the life of the car they are worth it.

i was actually thinking about painting the rear of the bumper to match the stripes, and yes we are talking about the ones that go up the side of the ram air. thanks for the replies everyone!

I absolutely love the stock lines of black WS6 Trans Ams so my first choice would be to leave it alone, but I can totally appreciate the urge to try something new/different. So if you are going to try anything go with the gunmetal stripes.

Well, I've seen your car in person and it is really sweet as it sits...I can say that it would look great with the stripes, too...but your tastes seem to lean towards subtle and understated, so I say no stripes...
