What Paint protection wax to use?
Well I just recently traded my Z28 in on a Vette and now i am really concerned about the paint. My car sits out in the hott Texas sun all day long. I was wondering what would be the best thing to put on there to protect the paint from fading from the hot sun. I am not sure it being fiberglass makes a difference. I was told about a product called Klasse what does everyone think about that? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

A sealant will be your best choice against the Texas sun...Zaino and Klaase are the most durable.
Remember that the process is the most important part:
Wash
Clay
Wash
Polish with abrasive and/or cleaner as necessary to remove swirls, etc.

Clay Magic, Mother's, and Meguiars should all have claybars available locally.
The Meguiars wax will do fine for now, but you will have to remove it to put a sealant over it.
Just a heads-up, Klasse SG is a bit finicky to work with.

Clay removes embedded contamination from the paint.
Zaino makes a great sealant that is probably the longest lasting product on the market (Z2 Pro). 2 coats last me 6-8 months.
Remember your finish will look the best when you properly prep the surface.

I am just basically looking for something to protect my paint from sitting out in the hot sun all day long. I am not to concerned on wax or shine. I use Megiuers Carnuba wax now and it works great. But i will probably buy some Zaino wax and some Zaino sealant if thats what you guys recommend.

You can try a synthetic wax, it offers the protection of carnauba wax but from what I understand it works better and lasts much longer, however it doesnt look quite the same as carnauba wax. There are also mixture carnauba and synthetic waxes you may want to try on top of the zaino sealant
