Wheel cleaner eats zinc coating? Today I bought some Eagle One chrome wheel cleaner to clean my chrome Y2k c5 wheels, and I got some of it on my zinc plated rotors. When I rinsed it off, it left ugly black marks on the zinc hub part on the rotors. Did I just screw up the zinc coating? Is there any way I can fix this?
