Possible to relocate the TCS switch???
Would it be possible to relocate the TC switch? Mainly because I'd like to have the use of the little cubby hole like in the non-tc console. Would it be possible to use a different type of rocker switch and put in to the ashtray?

this is a pretty quick install.
1. remove your tcs button from the mounting plate
2. slide the wiring out of the console [you can remove the console if it makes things easier for you]
3. remove your ash tray. you'll have to dremel out most of the plastic on the bottom to make it fit in. when i did mine, the ash tray actually cracked in half. luckily, it broke in two pieces and super glued back together very easily.
4. once you've dremeled out the ash tray, check and make sure the tcs button [without wiring] fits well. if its a bit loose, throw a little super glue on the edges. you dont want the button moving all over the place when your driving.
5. pull the wiring through the opening in the console for the ashtray. the wiring is going to be very tight, not too tight to where anything will be hurt, but tight enough to make it hard to pull the wires through.
6. plug the wiring into the button and then put the ash tray back into place.
7. enjoy.
i will post some pics tomarrow and possibly write up a better install guide. for the most part, however, this is pretty straight forward. just remember, if you break anything, nobody is really going to be studying your ashtray. any questions, be sure to ask!

You could probably get one cheap from a junkyard. But my switch panel is loose right now, and it looks just the same as a regular console. So I don't think you'll need anything.
