hey guys.. I got a 00 z28 a4 and was wondering where I could find the top center console piece.. the previous owner wasn't very attentive with her cigarette smoking apparently and there's a burn right above the gear indicator, and the 12v socket has little burned in circles around it V_v

I'd like to find a cheap one somewhere in the houston area... also any tips about removing it without messing things up too bad? heh?

You can find them cheap on ebay from time to time. To take it off just take out the 2 little bolts inside the console lid. If you have a coin holder they are under that. Then you just pull the staple off the front of your shift **** pull it off and take the shift plate the rest of the way out. Oh and put the car in neutral before you try to pull off the shift plate off, it makes it alot easier.

I got the uppercenter console in mint condition. I will sell it to you if you are still looking for one. And you can also get them at a chevy dealership.
