Default Couple of detailing questions inside....

1. What do you clean the inside of your windshield with? No matter what I use, it still streaks.

2. Is there a decent polisher that is less than the $ 135 or so for the PC DA unit? That's out of my budget.

3. Are there any products for swirl/oxidation removal that you can use without a machine with good results? Don't mind the elbow grease if it'll work.

Thanks!

That's weird, I just use Windex or glass plus. Works fine for me.

Guy I bought it from was a smoker, perhaps this is causing my problem trying to get the inside windshield clean.

1. I use Stoner's also, it works great.

2. The Porter Cable 7336 can be bought at Lowe's for $99 (regular price), or cheaper when there is a sale going on.

If you have Tint, Windex will discolor it.

I think any window cleaner should work well, maybe you should try yusing a waffle weave for the inside glass.

as far as products that work with elbow grease you can use any of the Meguiars 80 series, Poorboys, for swirls & oxidation. What works really well on oxidation alone is the Klasse All In One Cleaner Polish

I use either Stoner Invisible Glass or Sprayway foaming glass cleaner with a yellow microfiber...good results. Ditto on the 7336 from Lowes, I picked up mine for $99...

The vinegar based Windex is okay for tint, do not use the amonia based Windex.

I use the Gunk foaming window cleaner and I'm very pleased.
