Default Camaro guys with gauges in center vents

I have been wanting to put 3 gauges in place of the center vents in my camaro and I just wanted to see some pics,and here how some of you did it.

do you mean trans ams?? i havent ever seen someone do it on a camaro cause the hoels arent round??? but ya never know....

3 2 1/16" gauges will be real tight but 2 are doable. Here's a few of pics of what I did.

Started out as metal.



Then I covered it with ABS plastic.

here is mine....it is now black instead of orange since i did a custom paint job in purple, the orange didnt quite match any more

I know I have seen someone with 3 gauges. But GM muscle did the same thing I wanted to do. GM how did you get everything to stay in place,did you make brackets? and where did you get the plastic?

The metal plate fits tight enough in the hole that it just pushes in and stays solid. Here's the ABS I used, http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=265-940 . They have a few different thickness'.
