Default Shaved wing on a 'Bird?

I'll admit, I've always been curious what this look like, I've never seen it done. I searched but the threads were so old the pics were broken links. If you've got pics post 'em! Thanx.

There was one just about a month ago. I can't remember the title, though. I looked like an Olds Araura (sp?)

Are you guys sure it looks horrible or are you just so used to seeing it that it looks strange to you? I see a lot of RX-7 in that *** end and FD's give me wood. I wonder what it's look like with a GTO or a a simple lip spoiler... It doesn't help that pewter is a horrid color to begin with.

teh ugliezzz, a simple spoiler woudl look ugly, the back of the car slopes down, for a simple spoiler like gto's, it would have to be a flat back end.

I'm thinking of removing the huge T/A wing from my silver racecar. That sucker weighs a ton and isn't aerodynamic at all. Personally, I like the Formula wing better than T/A wings.

I agree 100% Tony... I even like the Formula front end better... but I like that T/A rear bumper, the bottom ground effects add just the right touch.

There's a guy on cz28.com that has removed his spoiler (either a firebird or TA, I don't know, I never saw the before pics, only the "in progress" ones) and then put a brickyard spoiler on the back. From the pictures that I saw, it actually looked really good.
