Default White gauges or stock black?

Trying to decide if I should do white overlays on my cluster and buy my autometer A-pillar in white or just leave everything black.

What do you guys think?

That's what I'm leaning towards right now.

black

the white ones are ugly adns tick out far too much, my car came with white ones...i removed them

...examples side by side, same car, Before is right after i bought it, after is now, last week, to be exact.

(there not exactly of the guages, but it shows how much they stick out/clash with the rest of the car)

Before(White):

After(Black):

the black ones are easier to see/read IMHO, and glow a little brighter.

not sure, prolly in the extra guage i had to buy to get the stock black one...duno where
you dont want it anyway, its not an overlay, its a whole face replacementand the needles are a dick to recalibrate once you pull them off, i need to hook up with somone with hptuners so i can reset my oil pressure and temp guages, i got the rest dead on after some trial and error.

Get silver ones. Check this site out http://www.dynoproauto.com/gauges770.htm

They made me some sweet gauge overlays. I have a TRIPLE Pillar gauge pod with silver Ultralight gauges and a the Silver gauge overlay for my speedometer and it looks much better than the stock application on my WS6.

All I get is compliments from everyone. Oh any they glow the same as stock at night!

Another vote for silver, especially on that maple color car.

Just an idea to suggest, there is a guy on here that will put a Z06 design on your gauges if you're interested. I talked to him a while back about it but I wasn't crazy about sending him my gauges and if I went Z06 style, I'd want the italicized numbers also, whereas he only applies the checkered design. Just an idea that I thought you might wanna know about if you're looking into gauges, but personally I think the stock black is smooth.
