Default First time use Clay bar (two thumbs up)

I used Mothers clay bar kit and I have to say it works just as advertised. Thanks to the memebers here I found out what is a clay bar and how to use it effective to clean my paint on my car.

I had some dirt on the rear bumper that I thought was rust spots and the with the clay bar I took off the dirt spots right off.

Before I used the clay bar and ran my palm over the dirt spots the surface was ruff. After I used the clay bar and cleaned her up the surface was smooth.

I plan on doing the whole car at later time.

Mother clay bar kit.

Usually clay won't do much for swirls, that normally takes buffing with some very fine polish
I use Menzerna IP and FP2 applied with a porter cable buffer on my black T/A, once a year in the spring keeps it looking good all year
There are a boat load of products you can use to get rid of the swirls, the Menzerna happens to be the ones I like and use
