Talking Fuel Rail Covers

I just got a pair of corvett fuel rail covers for my 98 ws6. I heard that there is some cutting to do before they go in. Does anyone know where to cut? I tryed *project trans am* wed site, but it wont let me open the intrustion part for the ls1 fule rail covers.
Can anyone help me out. thanks

It's kind of a trial and error process, lots of mounting and cutting.

Use this as a template:

and prepare to spend the day trimming, trimming, and more trimming.

It says that they made the cuts necessary for the 2 fuel lines and the AIR system. So if I am going to delete the AIR system do I even need to bother w/ the hole for the AIR ? Thanks

^ Wow, that's a pretty rough template, ..., Sorry man, ...

Seriously tho, If ya wanna do it yerself, do like kraaazymike & just start rippin' into'em, ...
Look at all the photos online & start trimmin' 'til ya get there.

And no, that hole is not for the AIR system, ...

That 'Search' function up there on the right will produce lots of help if used properly also.

Good Luck, ...

So you cut a second hole for the fuel line and the edge of the other cover of the back side. Thats what it looks like it. Is there anymore that i cant see?
