bulb wattage question..HELP!!

bulb wattage question..HELP!! hey guys...i swapped my stock fogs in my 02 SS for a new set of fogs...the bulbs are h3...the bulbs that were in the stock fogs were 55 W...
if i stepped up these new housings with a 70W H3 bulb...will any damage occur since the wattage is going up on the bulb by 15w??
Or will they just be brighter and not hurt anything...

If the bulbs you pulled out were 55w, then I don't think they were stock. I think a 70w bulb is gonna melt your housings. Go here http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...otiveLighting/ and do some homework. You'll learn alot. The TA fogs are only 27w and I think SS are about 37w..
