Hey Guys, I already have the shorter hockey stripes in black on my camaro... Well, I was in the Katrina area and the car got pretty banged up so insurance money = new hockey sticks... I already decided Im going to get the longer hockey sticks that go all the way down your car...but I was second guessing the black I already have... Anyone have any other suggestions on what might other colors hockey sticks might look good on pewter? Pics greatly appreciated!

Gunmetal or any dark grey would look good, silver might be ok but there probably wouldn't be enough contrast between the colors. It would be cool to do something different with the colors, but it would be hit or miss as to how it would look.

There is a guy here in AZ that has Hugger orange hockey stripes on his pewter camaro and they look nice.. but as you can tell I like the hugger orange stripes

thanks for the compliments... I remember seeing a car with the hugger orange hockey stripes on ls1tech a while back, but i remember how to search for it again! I wish I had a picture of the gunmetal hockey sticks!

Honestly, I wouldn't go with the hockey sticks all the way to the back of the car. My stripes only go to the door handle, I think it brings out the car more if you just leave'em at the door handle. It's your car, just make sure they put'em on straight this time...they looked a little wavy on your old picture. As for the color, try a 2 tone, maybe the inside black and outside gun metal or silver. My car is black with red hockey sticks and a silver pin stripe around it. I've never got a complaint, but then again I wouldn't care if someone didn't like it...I like it and that's all that matters. Trust me, 2 tone is the way to go.

Not many colors flow well with pewter. You could always do black again, or you could just take them off & realize how clean the car looks & not want them back. Thats what I did, I took mine off & it was like it was a new car again after seeing them for so long. Just dont fo the Hugger Orange, it doesnt look right IMO. But hey, its what you like that counts.

I would only do black on pewter. Anything else will look cheap on that classy color.

I had red stripes on my pewter TA (pics in sig). A lot of people loved it (me included), but a lot of people hated it too... You should try to do some photoshoping with different colors to see what it turns out like. I wonder what SOM stripes would look like on pewter?
