Removing Fairly deep scratches?

Removing Fairly deep scratches? Well i got hit in the parking lot by some rice rocket and when i turn around to see if he notices he quickly speeds off like the bastard he is..It doesn't appear to be that bad the morei look at it but since i just got my bumper painted recently, id like to try buffing it out before spendin more money at the collision place. What would u recommend using guys?

if its through the clear coat (youll see scratches in the actual paint, white marks) then take it and get it fixed, can't buff it out
if its just in the clear, buff it, check the faq's at the top and look at porter. heh
