Default Meguiars NXT tech wax on white car WORKS GREAT!!!

After spending a day searching for what wax(buyable at stores) to use on my car i decided on this... and... everything i have heard about it i have found to be true... extremely easy to apply and remove and well the reflections in the picture show the quality...

Looks nice.

withint the next few days im gona be adding a coat or two of it... so durability should be a long time with that...

I totally agree. I always use this wax, and I have found it to to be the best wax you can buy locally (vs. the internet). It is easy to apply and take off, and it has an amazing shine. As far as durability, it does pretty good. I have noticed bead action for up to two weeks (longest I go without waxing). It's only $15 a bottle and it has lasted me the whole year.

I use it and I like it a lot...it's cheap, easy to apply/remove and it looks good. It may not last months or weeks, so you just hafta wax it a litte more often.

I use Meguiars and like the results-A win and runner-up honors at the TA Nats.
Zanio is good if you hate waxing your car.

I love all of Meguiar's products. I've never used a product of Meguiar's that I haven't liked. And in all truthfully, I've never understood the true durability issue. I've washed my car with dawn soap, went over the entire car with a claybar, and then washed again with dawn soap. The water still beaded. It went a week after that before I could wax it, and it had rained during that time, and it STILL beaded with no wax what-so-ever on the car. It seems to me the whole "durability" issue is something the wax companies have drilled into our heads so we're always waxing our cars. If you ask PPG, they will say you don't need to use extreme waxes with super polymers and stuff like that. I quote directly PPG:
When you are ready to wax, do not use silicone containing or super polymer containing waxes or polishes. Today's finishes do not need such extreme protection and if your vehicle were involved in an accident, the removal of such waxes would be time consuming and expensive.

Beading is only one indication of the durability of a product. You also have to be aware of slickness, appearance, ease of cleaning/maintenance, etc.

Yes, fresh paint will bead, but those beading characteristics will change when you add a wax/sealant. That difference is what you should pay attention to and note as time passes.

I'm not aware of any wax/sealant out there that can't be removed with a light polish.

i use the nxt wax on a few of my vehicles... it usually beads for a week or 2 and stays slick feeling about the same amount of time.. it may last longer, but i wax my car more often than that! overall, i like the wax...

I agree NXT is the stuff. I haven't waxed my 99 SS in about 4 months and it still looks like it was waxed yesterday, so yes, in my opinion the wax is durable. I'm not going to spend a ton of money on Zaino stuff when I can get the same results with NXT. I have used it on white cars and red ones.
