Default Custom Translucent Mirror Fog & DRL Covers

Ordered some clear acrylic fog light and DRL covers. Took some 35% residental mirror tint and applied it on the backside. After it dried I sealed the edges with clear finger nail polish. They just slide & wedge in place and are easily removable. I haven't used my foglights with them yet and probably won't cause I'm afraid of melting the tint. I have APC 4-3/8" fogs with 70w bulbs. I just flip the switch to keep them off at night.

Opinions?

Got them from a guy. He sells these covers on Ebay as well. Just asked for clear and tinted them. PM me for his site.

It does look strange on the car seeing mirror and filling up the fog light holes. Just something different that no one else has done. It is growning on me.

I think it's a good idea, but might look better with a darker tint for your car.

I almost got smoke, but wanted to try something different. Now that I think about it, I should have gotten the light smoke and added the mirror tint behind it. It'd have a black chrome effect. Ummm....

That looks pretty cool. I cut a pattern on reflective tape to make the fogs look like a cats eye. Its real suttle, but when someone sees it they usually think it is sharp.
