Default Stock Firehawk 11" Rims - 315's!!!

Sent my wheels off to get widened 2". Shipped them out on a Monday and recived them back two weeks later. Only bad part is I had no center caps. They overnighted them to me though. I used 1.25" Skulte adapters to kick the rims out far enough to clear the fender. I get zero rubbing inside or outside the fender! Just bolt up and drive basically. I did run around on a friend's chrome ZR1's for 2 weeks, but beats the hell outta running around on some old salad shooters (which I thought I'd be doing).

Thanks!!

Sent them to Wheels America. They cost $150 each if you have a donor rim, $200 if you don't. I didn't, but with shipping there (they pay return), tires, de-mounting/mounting, balancing and adapters it was $712. Yeah, I know on factory rims but for some reason I try to keep as stock looking as possible.

The tires are Sumitomo HTR Z's. At $110 a piece, they're cheaper than 275's!

Typical Ol' Lumpy spoiler. It's an optional Firehawk spoiler only offered in 2000. They made only 125 of them and never made any aftermarket ones. Kinda ugly IMO, but at least it's rare.

Another good shot

I have some 245 Sumitomo HTRs on my car. I'm not sure I would buy them again. You like yours?

These tires definitely hook better than the 275 Firestone Firehawks that were on there before. The tires are pretty soft rubber too, but only have a 160 tread wear rating. But at $110 each, makes changing alot easier to swallow.

Actually the place that did them also does shortening. I think that'd be freakin' SWEET looking.

Oh yeah the work done on the rims has a lifetime warranty too.

purple98haz28: Sorry I wasn't out last night. I should be tonight (Fri) though. Look for me!
