Default All Automerter Gauges

Thanks to Camaroboy69 I installed all autometer gauges in place of the stock gauges. Here are the pics I have so far.

Kraaazymike-- I am going carbed and no pcm so they wouldnt work anyway.

Durien-- No I dont but I will get some later and post them.

I have to get another bezel so I can sell the scanmaster and then cut the lower loop out so it doesnt sit on the gauge.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you have tied up in the gauges?

BlackBird--Yeah the piston was smashed pretty bad. Guess thats what happens when a valve seat comes apart at start up.

93Formto98t/a-- probably around $400 or so bought them all from jegs they are ultra lites.

Wow, that looks slick as hell. I'm also interested in how long it took and if it was a PITA.

Red95Formula
Thank you for the compliments on the gauge pod. It looks great in your car and im glad everything went well. Also thank you to everyone in here that complimented the product.
If any other members have questions about this hook up you can see this thread I have attached at the end. It has all the members that have purchased the gauge pod so far. There are also night pics, and vidoes of the gauges in action. https://ls1tech.com/forums/removed-locked-thread-graveyard/359091-93-02-t-autometer-gauge-pod-5-gauges.html

I think it looks fantastic. My only concern would be the dummy lights. But like you said, you'll be carb'd so it doesn't really matter anyways.

But I will be the first to beg this question, WHY? I know that I could spend $400 on plenty of other go-fast goodies. But why do you need gauages? What makes you think you need to replace the stockers anyways? The only thing I could think of would be the laggy stock tach, but that doesn't call for all new gauges...

maxf---why did you buy a red z? Because thats what you wanted! Not being a dick but I wanted something differnet than everyone else so thats why i bought it. Plus I didnt want gauges all over the dash and in the vents or a pillar pod.

I dont have them hooked up yet because the car is still w/o a motor. I am going to splice the fuel into the wire harness behind the gauges, and the rest I will have to run some wire but not too hard to do.

Thanks

You can easily hook up LED's for the dummy lights. Just engrave under them what they are. Hell, put them all together in a seperate panel if you like !
