Default Mother's Aluminum Polish

Trying the search function, but it's not letting me search for anything today for some odd reason.

Anyway, can I use this polish on all the un-painted metal on my car? Such as the underhood pieces, stainless steel tips, stock rims (would that make them look shinier?), etc?

Don't know if it will work on stainless, never tried it, but it does a mighty fine job on Aluminum...hints the name.

Does a good job on my stainless tips, you can use it on the stock wheels I have, makes them look pretty good also.

Oh, and would it remove paint? My billet grille is painted on the top and bottom of the bars, but has that polished look in the front.

So this would be a great underhood chemical since most of the things are aluminum (or am I wrong on that)?

It's an abrasive, it will scratch paint. Yes the whole motor is aluminum, but polish won't do anything to cast surfaces. Aluminum has to be sanded very smooth before polish will do anything. Do a search on aluminum polishing here or google it. There's tons of info out there and it'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know. And be prepared to spend some time doing it!! It's time consuming but looks awesome when it's done.

Oh, I'll have time.

I have a 3.8 (oooh flame me lol) but I'm head/camming it this summer along with supporting mods of sorts. While I'm at it, I'm going to paint the heads/valve covers/intake manifold, and shine up whatever I can..

So I have time (both then and between now and then to learn). Thanks!
