why would you waste your time doing that? no performance gain, and if you want a cleaner look just put a factory LT-1 ram air on.

and the lt1 ram air is horrible! Yea, lets sit a CAI right on the intake?

So, what all is needed for the mod? Will I see the same gains as a moroso CAI

And to WarBird27

This is the apperance section, nothing here is added for the sole reason to gain power.

Looks sweet. I see the peiece under the lid * WTF is that called? * needs replaced, and modded

Will that all bolt up to my car?

And about my MAF

I see its moved back like the LS1's, rigth on the intake. Since that was a 97 ws6, his was already there, but mines down after the elbow, so it will need moved. Do I have enought slack in the wires to move it there? would I benefit from a ls1 MAF? If I stayed with the lt1 MAF, Id still need a LT1 N20 system, but if I go with a ls1 MAF I would have to change to a ls1 style N20 system correct?

Sorry for all the questions lately, I just want to get my **** like I want it, Ive got a huge list, and just want to get my **** straight and do it right the first time.

First off, it won't clear your stock hood or the regular LT1 Ram Air hood. I believe it will only fit under the raptor style hoods. Your LT1 MAF will work fine. You might need an extention for the harness.
