Default Took off my grille, need some ideas.

So I ripped off the stock grille because...well it sucks lol.

I like not having a grille on there but I hate seeing the bumper absorber. Has anyone found any type of inserts that go in the opens of the bumper to cover the absorber? Has anyone/company made anything?

I did a search but couldn't come up with anything.

No. It's there for a reason. I'm not messing with the integrity of the car.(That's one thing I won't do, I work in the body repair business and that absorber was placed there for a reason)_

I was interested in the same thing. I have seen a few people with the metal mesh placed in front of the bumper absorber, but haven't seen it in person. I was thinking of cutting a hole in it to make it functional, but haven't looked into it yet.

HAHA, Frostbite responding to Frosty's post...thats funny

Only thing Ive really seen were people putting inserts in, were after they get grilles like the Wings West or SLP. I havent seen any pics of people putting inserts into the stock locations...but then again I havent really paid much attention.

Cut the bumper absorber up, just go around the gills with a knife. Don't take the whole thing off it fills up the nose and keeps it from sagging or being stressed (stress makes the paint crack). I cut around the wholes. I like to think i pulls in more air to the intake and radiator now (yeah right) plus the weight savings (okay I'll quit being silly). It doesn't require you to remove much material either if you don't want to see the foam anymore.
