Default Seatbelt Harness

Is there any way that you can put like 5-point harnesses in a car without having a roll cage?? I know you obviously need new seats..... I just like the look of the harnesses and I didn't know if there was a way without having a cage.

Look to L.G. motorsports they have a 'Harness bar' that bolts to the rear seat
belt on each side.

You don't have to have new seats to use a harness set-up as long as shoulder harness angle is correct ot harness install instructions. The LG harness bar is an option to a full out roll cage - it mounts to the rear shoulder belt harness mounting points.

You have to be observant of the angle of the belts as they come up and over your seats as there is a correct and incorrect angle for them to follow. Incorrect angle could lead to serious injury if relying on belts in an accident...

Also be careful using a 5 point without a roll bar. If the car rolls over, you will be stuck in the upright postion.

I'm currently debating on this one myself. Either a 4 point cage or just a harness bar for weight savings since my car may never see the strip... I'm going to run kirkeys as well.

It's actually 2 years. For $50 most companies will reweb and retag your belts.

do you all have some pics of this bar. And maybe a car with the stock seats, even though I'm thinking it wouldn't look right.
