Default lexan front and back glass

who has this and how do you like it and does it leak... about how much weight does it take off for the front and for the back and who sells it.. thanks

also, does it scratch or turn yellow?? i drive it to work that is 4 min away and race it and thats it and maybe a weekend cruiser do you think it is worth it, i have to replace them anyways... thanks

The windshield will need some center supports lexan alone will bend in from wind force.
Better cover my self

Huh? Lexan is used for Hurricane proof windows. How could it bend by being used as a windshield?

Lexan is used in most all race cars from NASCAR to the Corvette C6-R and NHRA Pro Mod Cars. It's lighter and easier to replace than glass! Only problem is that it scratches easily and you can't buff the scratches out. That's one reason why those NASCAR guys run with those tear offs on the drivers side and another reason why the Vette C6-R will run a glass window in a long race like Sebring or Le Mans so they won't have to worry about visibility problems late in the race. The only PRO to lexan is that it is lightweight!
