I really like Blackfire or Zaino. Both are sealants and very durable. They look great on dark colors.

The brand is really not that big a deal, whatever you use, the final look is going to depend on how well/thoroughly you do the prep (wash, clay, polish)
You can get a knock out look from any wax, if you do the prep properly

i just finished a job on my ss..its red, but i mean it should look great on black as well...
i used a mothers clay bar and then the meguiars 3 step, cleaner, polish, wax products...
all i have to say is AWESOME....feels brand new, the clay bar was key by the way...

Step 1.: Wash really really good.
Step 2.: Wax with mequires (sp) step1 cleaner wax.
Step 3.: Wash again with dawn.
Step 4.: Wax with turtle wax black wax. This hides alot of blemishes.
Step 5.: Wash again with eagle one car wash.
Step 6.: Then use some eagle one fast wax.

Shew after that is complete you will have one sharp black vehicle!!

If you have access to a Porter Cable Orbital, you can make your paint look like liquid black. Tropi-Care is the way to go!
(1) Wash
(2) Clay Bar
(3) Swirl Cutter with yellow foam pad
(4) TC-3 Polish with black foam pad
(5) Remove TC-3 with microfiber bonnet over orange foam pad
(6) Final wipe down with detail spray and microfiber towel

zaino

note that the first pic is when i actually put the zaino on, and the other pics are months after, just washing the car. it really seems to keep its shine, im thinking about doing it again now that it has been a long time though

Ive never been impressed with Zaino on a black car. I used it for over a year. It looks too plasticy.. I use NXT from Mcguires and it gives me the depth I like from black.
