LED Dome and MAP Lights
LED Dome and MAP Lights: We now carry them in red, blue, and white. We haven't gotten a chance to put them on the site yet but they are $25 shipped per set of 3 (2 for the map and 1 for the dome light). They are direct replacement bulbs, no soldering or glueing. They just snap into place.
Pictures can be seen here:

We accept paypal or money orders. Please PM me if you would like a set or have any questions!

How did $5.95 for a pair go to $25 for 3? Am I missing something? Also, I too am curious about the brightness, I was planning on making a lamp out of 24 5,500 LEDs, will these even compare?

So far I'm using one of those super bright white japan made 194 bulbs for my maps. It lights up the car nicer than stock halogens and it actually looks white. I may want to buy LED though if they're more brighter. And I an led replacement for my dome done by D.A.V Electronics. BUt it isnt as bright as I wanted it to be. I looked at the site and didnt see any dome examples. I'm interested.

Since I fly alot, I have come to appriciate red light at night. It's the only color that doesn't ruin your night vision, so in theory you could drive with your red map lights on and it wouldn't bother you like the white light does. I can't stand driving with any interior lights on but if they were red it would be a non-factor. Just a heads up for those interested.

does anyone know if the replacement LEDs he sells for the HVAC controls and dash lights would work in a firebird? the site only shows a camaro interior. if they do i would be interested, since the head unit i was gonna put in my car has a blue display.
also, what is involved with replacing all the stock lighting with these LEDs? is it simple?
