Can you paint the openings to the grill?

heres a side view, but i am taking off those lights, they just make it kind of ricerish, it looks much better with stock lights.

yeha i rushed into buying them hopefully i can sell them, i could of bought the hood instead for a little more money or some performance parts, oh well. the car is looking real bad with them on though, and i had to put stock ugly 98 wheels back on cuz i gotta get the ccws polished cuz salt screwed them all up.
