Default Removing tape

I took off my ground effects and there was double sided tape on it. I got most of the tape off but left some small areas and line of where the tape kinda left a residue almost. Is there any easy way to get this off? I tried Goo Be Gone and gas both seem to help a little but takes forever. Any good ideas??

Thanks,
Mike

Try baby oil on a bath rag... and then add a little heat if its still not wanting to come off.

Naptha takes off tape residue easily. No hard rubbing or tools needed.

Go to Autozone and get Sticker Shock...it's a bumper sticker remover, but it works great on molding tape.

I've been thinking about removing my ground effects as well, but I'm not sure if it would look better or worse. I was also worried about some sort of staining or residue left on there, and from what you say it sounds like there will be some. Here's a current pic of what I've got. Did yours have the spoiler part as well? I guess that's part of the ground effects.

(pic's large, so I didn't include the img tags)

I had the WW kit on my car so it didnt have the spoiler piece. Also my car is blue and doesnt show up hardly anything like where the screw holes where which was practically underneath the car kinda. There is some "staining" but I think will come out the more I work on it. I plan to clay bar and hit it with my porter cable after I get this glue stuff off.

I really like the look of it with the GFX off. It looks like it went on a diet. Also that new CME will look nice tucked under the rear.
