They came yesterday. Those things are nice and thick and very easy to install, you almost can't mess it up. The protective tape on the shiny side was a touch too.

a few days ago i said they were awesome but i now retract that statement.
mine are chipping appart very badly from behind, between the adhesive and mirror. i sent the dude an email and he said im
"caring for them improperly" wtf does that mean?? i cant wash them with soap and water? i asked him to replace the set, since i only got them a month or two ago and he wont. what a jackass. nice customer service right?
sorry didnt mean to jack your thread, just a warning.

Thanks for the insight man!
Just curious, what happened between them being brand new and them falling apart on you? You just washed the car, that's it? Can you post some pictures?

They are B&B Triflo, but you have to buy the whole system, can't just get the tips. Our Sponsors here sell them...but it's not cheap since it's stainless, around 700-800 dollars.

muffinbuster on ebay AKA dragonz28 here makes awesome fill ins. Much higher quality, they are made out of stainless steel and polished to a mirror shine. Should never need replacing.

No, of course it's not a cop car, it's my car. I call it a "race deterrent". People gullible enough think it's a undercover cop car and don't mess with you. I just think it's funny. I saw the badge on a Crown Vic cop car some time ago and just thought it sounded cool. I was also influenced by watching the original Mad Max one too many times. If you remember, it said "Interceptor" on his car.
To me, it's just a joke which, in my eyes, kinda looks cool.

I got my inserts from subthump a couple years back and they are great. I havent had the first problem with them. Actually the pics on his site are of my car and they look just as good today as when I took those pics.
