Unhappy am i getting screwed at the body shop?!?

ok, last year, some soccer mom plowed into teh drivers door area of my 2002 Z28 hardtop. they fixed it and i was happy. now the paint is starting to bubble (all the work was under warranty and paid by her ins.). so itake it back and they say no prob....3 days later they call back and say they may have to replace teh WHOLE roof to fix it !?!

i dont understand that, i am no paint and body man, but thats sounds crazy!

any thoughts?

Do u still have the info like the claim # that the lady insurance gave you a year ago. How long was the warranty? If it is still under warranty I would definitely call that lady's ins. and let them know the issue with the paint and what the shop is pricing you. Maybe they can advise you what to do. I work for an ins. co. but I don't handle claims. I definitely know procedures though on situations like ur in. Don't let a shop screw with you. Your best best is just call that ins. co. and go from there.
