Painting my brake calipers?
Im gettign ready to start painting my brake calipers in the next couple day i jsut have a couple of questions. Do i need to primer them? Also dose anyonre recomend any type of paint weather it be brush on or spray? And after there painted how long dose the paint last before it needs to be re painted?

take a dremel to them to get rid of some of the casting flash...mask them off, and spray away with whatever high temp paint you like...follow up with lots of clear

go to autozone etc. they sell VHT paint, especially made for calipers it is heat resistant, i didn't clear coat mine ??? just clean them whipe em' off, and spray, (gave mine around 3-4 coats) i left the calipers on the car even and just masked it all off, looks great IMO. don't make a easy job hard lol.

what i did: wiped them off with a rag and painted them with white rustoleum spray paint. looks great 6 months later. so good that im dont have any desire to put on my powdercoated callipers that are just laying to my left
