Default Which hood for an LT1??

I want to pick up a ram air hood for my '97 T/A. I'm torn between 2 hoods so any comments on what you guys like or dislike about each hood would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the Boa-Fx WS6 hood I found on ebay:

And here is the Suncoast Creations WS6 hood:

dunno about the boaFX hoods... but suncoast fitment on my 94 lt1 left alot to be desired to say the least. I've had several aftermarket hoods installed on stuff over the years and it was a huge PITA by comparison.

sorry to make such a quick follow up post, BUT... lol .... look at the pic of the suncoast hood, the left front corner is too high and sticking up above the body line in THAT pic and thats probably from THEIR OWN SITE!!

I agree, go stock, the newer ram air style is made to go with the newer front end. Just doesn't look right. But if you still go with one, then get the second because it looks a little better.

That ram air style doesn't look right at all on a 93-97. CCheck out a sponsor here, American Sports Car Design. They have two in particular for that model year. One is the cowl hood, which in my opinion looks better on the 93-97 Camaro. The other is the Big Block hood, which I had on my 96 TA and looked fantastic. Got compliments everywhere I went and quality and fitment were great. I think the ram air for that model year was OK too, but no way would I put the 98-02 hood on a 93-97.

I also agree with the stock ram air hood being the choice. Those hoods simply dont flow with the front nose of the LT1 cars. If you want something more aggressive, I believe VFN sells a bigger style of the stock ram air hood.
