Default cleaning up aluminum parts......

Probably been discussed before but what is the best way to brighten up the corroded looking aluminum in the engine bay (throttle body, block, ac dryer) ?
I think that my use of simple green has created a crappy looking engine bay, and when I put in my new heads/ cam this weekend I may be even more pissed about the look of it when I start dissasembling these parts.

Anythings I can spray on it? CD2? Cam2 detailer and brush? Not really looking to polish, just brighten it up a little.

Where would I buy such items?

most likely if you put simple green on the engine while it was any temperature but cold, the aluminum parts oxidized and the only way to get rid of it is polishing.....trouble is you can't very well polish aluminum "as cast", gotta do some smoothing first. Try getting some mothers aluminum polish and do your a/c condenser by hand as it's already pretty smooth. It'll clean it right up. Then grab some sandpaper and move on to the tb, maf ends.....you'll get addicted to polishing in no time.
