Default My Fastest Detail Ever

This car belongs to the owner of local performance shop. They recently finished up this project, so he gave me a ring to clean her up. The car is an '05 C6 Corvette with a 402 stroker motor and twin turbos :nervous2: It made 840 rear wheel horsepower...before they added the methanol kit It's customers like these that I really appreciate - when he dropped it off, he said, "Do whatever you want to it." Then before he left he told me, "If you take it anywhere, make sure to give it a little gas because the clutch is a little tricky."

Exterior Process:
Optimum APC on wheels/tires/wells
NXT wash
Zaino Z18 clay
Menzerna PO85RD w/ polishing pad (really awesome polish)
Zaino Z5 x 2
Zaino Z8
Eagle One 20/20 on all glass
Zaino Z16 on tires
Armor All in wells

Interior Process:
Vacuum mats
Wipedown w/ damp MF

^^ Are you joking. the guy practically told you to drive it and you didn't? Come one now. I know you wanted to respect his property but a chance like this doesn't come very offten.
Looks like you did a very nice job on it. Keep up the good work.

You did a great job! I would have at least taken a spin around the block.....no lie I also wouldn't have driven the car even though I would have been very tempted too. The corvette is badddass, killer looks.

No it's a final polish, rather mild, used to take out the last of the micro marring after using the coarser polishes, supposedly no longer imported into the US, but still available in Europe

Props to you for not taking it out. Many guys would've jumped in and shot out of the driveway as soon as the owner left. However, I'm pretty sure you've never driven an 800+ rwhp car and can admit that not many of us could handle it! Very smart of you.

And the car looks amazing!

oh ya, and to add to my previous post...i have a question, being you wanted us to post comments/QUESTIONS...how long did it take you do complete that car, was it all done by hand, and how much did you charge him if I may ask..(you don't have to answer that if you would not like too, I was just curious to compare local detail shops around here)
