Default Bird interior into a maro?

Ive always liked the Firebirds interior better than the camaro's. Plus I have the tan interior that has been pretty torn up sadly so I figured I would look at a complete swap. Anyone attempted this?

I love those WS6 seats, will the fit in a camaro without any problems ? They look a little bigger.

They are the same car, so yea, they will fit...

If you wouldn't mind recovering mine, I'd trade you my tan seats for your camaro seats... I hate T/A seats, so uncomforatable and ugly...

My driver seat also needs to be recovered, and just clean up the passenger seat a little if you really wanted to look at trading.

Cardomain finally worked. Tks for the pics. How much did the individual parts run you? Time to install?

Well i got a hell of a deal on my parts, i don't think most would be this lucky. The dash was free, the seats cost me $100 and the door panels about $60. I'm sure for a nice set of TA seats you'll pay 4-500 a nice set of TA door panels and all the switches and bezels $150, the dash $250-400. The door panels can be installed in about 1.5 hrs, but if you want to actually re wire them so the mirrors will work add another couple hrs to that. The Dash took me 6 hrs or so, but i had to rewire mine to match the firebird cluster. For LT1 cars the 93-97 Firebird clusters are wired the same as the 97 Camaro dashes. Since i had a 95 i had an odd ball wiring set up. I believe the 97+ camaros and TA's are wired the same on the clusters. If you wanted to though you could use you camaro cluster again.

That looks awesome, z95m6! I wish I could score me a TA interior... would make my carPC look a lot more "stock" in the perfect square center for the radio and HVAC..

I will restate in easier to understand terms.

Camaro Seats > T/A Seats

T/A seats suck ***** to get into, my back always hits the side, and the bottom side support always goes up my *** hole. I know you seem like the type of guy that likes things up his ***, but I for one don't. Once you're in the seat, they are comfy from the neck down.. But that ******* headrest is a POS... Its big, blockie, hard, and all but usable, its always rotating in the wrong way, and just plain doesn't function like any headrest I've ever seen before..

I prefer the simpler lines of the camaro seats, they are hardly noticeable, they blend in; they are easier to get into, and the integrated headrests, its just a killer combo...
