Ah a tripod. That's the key to not getting blurry night shots. I don't have one and I thought I had a steady hand. My evening pictures are all crappy because the camera senses the light and takes longer to shoot the picture.

I have the PowerShot A410. It has almost half the megapixels of your camera. I'm going to be taking some pics in a very bright parking garage when the weather gets better. Is there any advice you can give me? The pic will be taken at night with a tripod
