Default Exterior Mounted Fuel Pressure gauge

I have a 2 1/16 ultra light fuel pressure gauge(mechanical) was wanting to mount it behind the cowl on my Trans Am. On the plastic piece that houses the windshield wiper motors. Good or bad, and if anyone has piks that would be great!!!

I don't think these gauges are made for exterior use. I don't think they would hold up well to getting rained on.
