Default FINALLY New Hood and Rims (56k weep)

Well I finally got my hood painted and changed my rims from the C6 motorsport to the Ruff Racing 279's. What do you think.

Before

After

the hood looks very sharp, but personally i think it would've looked real nice with your old rims and the new hood, i dont know why, but i'm partial to those old rims, but regardless, the car looks great

Well I didnt want these at first. To begin with I ordered 278's in hyper black ($799). But they miss read the box and didnt have those in stock. Back ordered for 2 months. So they gave me the 279's in chrome for the same price..originally $999...So I decided to get them and they are growing on me......who knows ill probebly change them in a few months anyway...

Wow what a difference. Your ride looks 100 times better! Your wheels look good. I am so use to seeing the basic star pattern on wheels that your set is a refreshing change. Way to stand out.

Car looks absolutely sick, your fender stripes put it over the top, I think they look better on your car than on most I have seen. New wheels look way better.

The car looks really nice but the hood looks like it is a little lighter than the rest of the car. Of course it could be the lighting.

IMO, it looks much better now, ...,
And it does appear the hood & headlight covers are a bit lighter shade. Odd, ...

hmm everyone is splooging over the wheels, and they are nice as hell but they look way out of place on an F-body.

6 spoke looks good on trucks, suvs, and imports (those would look hot on a supra)

but other than that, only thing i see is that the GS stripes are taking away from the rest of the car, in a bad way.

sorry to be the negative nancy

agreed.those wheels look horible to me on a f-body.I used to think the c6 wheels were ugly but when comparing them to those I say c6!

I think I remember you posting those wheels and I was skeptical because I majorily prefer 5 spoke wheels, but damn, I think they turned out well. It might look even better if it were the same design and 5 spokes, but either way they look great and are very unique.
