Default SEAT question

i have corbeau a4's (black), and within about 4 months they were blue, now borderline white/purple.. The kidney area's are starting to tear, etc..

now, i want to replace them but with something more durrable.. I dont feel like dropping another 800 on seats just to have them fade again.

anyone have any suggestions

i second the having them recovered... black tweed would probably be the cheapest, but if you did a greyish/silverish and black two tone leather it would look sweet

Get them recovered or get stock seats.

Most cost effective solution would be to get them upholstered with a durable fabric or vinyl. In the process you could throw in some custom work..piping, embroidery, etc.

I think you should get on the phone with Corbeau's Warranty Department and try to get it resolved through them first. If that falls through get them reupholstered.

ive had them for almost 3 years now.. When they started to fade i thought about checking on warranty but i had no other seats to use, and im sure shipping would have killed me. I actually did think about recovering them, Im going to call a few places today. Only problm i see with that is the turnaround time with no seat..

thanks guys

Oh..you failed to mention that....
yep I think your down to getting them re-done..which is almost as expensive as the seats were in the beginning...

Go to your junkyard and get a set of seats for $50. Any seat from any 1982 through 2002 Camaro or Firebird will bolt directly into your car. Now you have some seats while your other ones are getting recovered.
