Question Tinted Pix Please!

I have a black 99 Trans Am and would like to tint my lights. I am going to try to use the nightshade product. I am going to tint my side marker lights first, and then hopefully my brakelights. If anyone has done any of this and has some tips, or pitures, please share them. I don't want to mess my lights up. Thanks!

I just bought the black outs for the back and they clipped right in and look great. You can get them at any local auto parts store. Then i sprayed my third tail light and the side markers and it came out looking really nice. I also sanded out the trans am bird in the back so it was completely black. I will try to post of some pics for ya here in a bit.

Hey TRU-2GM , that is exactly how I want to do my car!!! It looks awsome. I got some Nightshade to put on. How many coats did you put on? It says to do no more than 3 coats or else you can't see the lights.

Also, how did those rear tail light covers stick on? Did they actually clip on or do they just stick on. I have heard to stay away from the adhesive stick kind. Thanks for the pictures, all of these rides are amazing. Keep posting your pictures, info and thoughts!

did you buy new light covers or paint them? How much where the tail light covers and how much did those cost?

Thumbs up Worked Great!!!

Hey thanks for your info. I just got the nightshade and did it all myself. I used a whole can of paint on just my back lights. With the black car and all the lights tinted, it looks freakin' Knight Rider! I would say to anyone wanting to get stuff tinted, just buy the $10 can of paint. $20 bucks all together and she has a meaner look. It was easy to do and way cheaper. I added up how much it would have been to buy all of the smoked out plastic pieces and it was a lot! The key is to remember to clean the heck out of the plastic before you paint it. Oh yeah, and do very light coats. It is much better to take your time and not get any run marks!
