Default Stock 4th Gen. Camaro Grille Removal?

I need tips on how to get the old grille out without damaging the front nose. The Service Manual says to remove the nose, but I know that's not necessary. Help please.

Just tie it to something stationary (truck, house), put it in reverse, and floor it

Grip it and rip it. That's what I did. No damage.

Only one way to find out.....

I know some people go through the trouble of snipping the plastic taps off from behind, but most just rip it off. So whether you yank on it with your hands, or a ATV, it really shouldn't make a difference, just don't go crazy pulling it. Hint: If you drag the car by the grille behind your ATV....slow down and try again!

It wont damage the foam, I just do one side at a time, it takes some force to get it off so dont be scared to put muscle into it.

When I pulled mine off, I held the bumper down firmly in the area I was pulling on, and just worked my way around. Don't be afraid to put some muscle in it, but if you are scared of messing something up, just put some pressure on the surrounding areas like I did.

be careful though, the bottom snaps out real easy. The top has "plastic nuts" holding it on. I just pulled until they popped. But i could tell if i pulled much more the paint would have started to crack.

Its easy as hell. You shouldnt damage anything if you yank it off.

Pull the sides off, then do the bottom. Work from the outside to the inside. Then do the top. This will be the hardest part. Again, work from the outside to the inside. Should take you all of 2 minutes.
