some one told me that blue neons/ under glow/ ground effects (what ever you want to call them) are illegal in Oklahoma. because of the emergency vehicals. dose any one know if thats true? i would like to know before i buy them.

i believe they're illegal in all states due to the emergency vehicle color code... i believe its blue and red? or, just maybe blue. i know virginia is pretty stiff on 'em (just like they are on everything else )

I don't believe there are any limits on colors you can have. In most states it's illegal to drive with ANY neons on, regardless of color. That's why they're labeled for offroad use only. Get whatever color you want, just don't drive with them on.

dude, just do wut u want with ur car... i personally like the neons, if done in good taste. wutever adds to ur car to make it look different, go for it man. i like uniqueness. matter of fact, i plan on puttin neons on my camaro when im done with exterior mods (with my income, probably by 2010 )

i believe there was a thread about this earlier, where the first half started out flamin the dude for the idea of neons under his f-body...the latter half turned to pro-neons.

It's okay to have whatever color you want as long as your car isn't moving. Otherwise you can only have white.

This really shows your ignorance considering underbody lighting was first done on mopar and trucks as stated in the thread about neons. But I don't want to start a war on this guys thread because all he wanted to know was if it's illegal which it is but here in columbus ohio i had blue neons on my old firebird and never got stopped in 6 months

Illegal here on the road no matter what color they are. But I see it pretty regular on cruises, just depends on how pissy the local cop that sees it is.

Oh boy, here we go again. To all those posting dumb *** comments about neons are gay etc..I think we got that point across from all of you in the last thread on neons.

Some people just never give up.

the comments on this site towards others tastes in style etc.. especially when they aren't even asking for comments or opinions like in this thread, are really starting to get old and simply starting to make this site very unappealing.

What it was first on doesnt matter.
big *** wings were first on plymouth superbirds. Does that mean that a 3 foot wing looks cool on a car now? thats not very solid logic.

And blue lights on any moving car is illegal, in every state, doesnt matter if a cop has stopped you or not, its a color reserved for police only, thats why ambulances dont have it.
