Default idea for camaro owners

Has any camaro owners thought of this. I have one of these models except it looks exactly like my car, except for the roof is painted silver as well. I know the the trans ams and fomulas are like that. Any camaro owners think of this. I kinda like it.

I hate the black roofs on the V8 cars. If I ever get another one that's not black it's going to be painted. It just looks out of place. I like my cars all one color.

Hahahaha, I am opposite of you guys, I think black looks bad ***. If its the same color, IMO, it stands out too much. Besides it makes it look like a cockpit.

i like the black roofs, Jeremiah's looks good, very clean. but im keeping my black roof and dark tint to tie in some black wheels..

FYI: some SS's and Z28's did come from the factory with a body color b-pillar, and so did BC4's (cop cars) but a lot of the cop cars got repainted

I have a painted roof! I love it, and I never hear that it looks like a V6.

Yes the V6 cars recieved the body collored roof, so did the anniversary cars, Berger cars, GMMG ZL1 cars, Dick harrel cars, in other words most all of the special editions or super cars also recieved the body collored roofs. Although anytime one of those cars pitures are posted all you will hear are how bad *** they are and never how they look like a V6. I thought the car looked out of proportioned with the black roof, it made the car look a mile long. With the white roof it gives the illusion of a smaller more sporty appearance...IMO.

It all comes down to personal oppinion.

if you guys haven't noticed the Z28 looks just like a V6 as it is, i wouldnt worry about that. consider it one step closer to a trans am, that's a good thing.

Thanks for the complement!

I think GM really dropped the ball on the Camaro styling, they had a great platform and did nothing with it. I would also agree that Pontiac did a better job in the styling dept, I had a 30th TA and thought it was one of the best looking F bodys built. I have owned approx. 30 Camaros of all years, most of them being first gens, only a few of them were unmodified. This is my first attempt at a modified fourth gen. I built it to my personal taste, just as GMMG and Berger designed there cars to there taste.

It's not that tough, actually... there is a Revell models of a '98 WS6 floating around out there, I have one at home of a Bright Purple Metallic '98 WS6 that looks exactly like my car except that it has a tan interior. I don't think they still produce them but you can find them on Ebay from time to time. Rattle can of black paint and you're golden.

Try finding one of a Formula sometime... THAT is tough.

I like both. I think you have to have the right setup in order for it to look good.

Jeremiah's car looks great, but personally I would've kept it black. Especially with the tint it ties in perfectly IMO having 5-15% up there with the black roof panel.

It looks the best on white and pewter too. NBM, purple, green and some of those other colors it looks good body color.
