The best thing to do is order a set for a 97-98 vette. I dont know if you can get them in red since those are for the z06. I bought a set and had a guy paint them, it looks really nice and bad ***.
The strut bar should be a bolt on, mine was.

If you want the vette ones for your Camaro, you will have to cut them to fit. Try www.afterthoughtsauto.com for the correct ones for f-bods. Waiting time is 6-8 weeks though...

IMO putting "corvette" under the hood of a camaro looks stupid...why not actually put camaro?

if they are already pre cut to fit, then no .. just have to take your time, cut a couple of tie downs that hold the fuel lines together, and watch out for the spikes under the edge of the cowl.
I take mine on and off all the time .. takes me about 10 minutes now, took about 30 the first time because I didn't want to screw them up.

Like stated above the FRC's will have to be cut to fit the F-body. Once cut they are easy to install, just take your time. Mine are cut around the throttle cable and cut in the back.

What about the one's listed on Ebay which read that they are ready for an install on 1999-2002 LS1 Firebird, Camaro etc ? Has anyone tried those?
Chad, great link and that might be better. It looks better and goes smoother with the car. But theyre like 215 bucks complete I might have to save for those. Get them in black to contrast the white car.

Do what ever is easiest for you.
They attach to the fuel rail tube across the top of the manifold with built in c-clips in the plastic covers. They also attach to the small metal posts sticking up off the coil packs.
You have many options, ...
1) Buy a set form your local GM dealer for about $65-100 for the pair, depening on who you deal with. Or find them from sponsors on the website forums for about $50-60. Then you need to start looking at all the photos of the units that have been cut to fit & start you own cutting. Work your way into slowly, as it's pretty tough to add material back on to it if you cut too much.
#12556455, Right Side Fuel Rail Cover
#12559261, Left Side Fuel Rail Cover
These are the units with the two slots already in them. This is the best starting application. Do not buy the 99-up units with only one slot.
2) Buy a set that's already pre-cut for you. Make a couple small modifications under the hood & snap them in place. Shouldn't take but about 15 minutes to install for someone with some mechanical aptitude. Should cost you about $90-110. PM me for details if ya want a set already cut for $95 shipped. I've got one set here ready to go.
3) Order custom units that will blend with your plan under the hood. Painted to match the body color, or contrasting if you like. With decals of the vehicle type. These will cost you anwhere from $210-240+ depending on options. Been there, done that. Many times over, ..., for other people. Again PM for details if necessary.
Good Luck, ...

I'll have them eventually...going to have them painted the same color as the car w/ the brushed aluminum lettering...eventually.
it defintely makes the engine bay look 1,000x better.
