Default orange or white pad for swirl remover

I am about to order my pads for my pc and wasnt sure which pads to buy.

My car is a 1998 and the paint is in great shape. The shine and overall condition of the paint is awesome but i do have light swirl marks all over the car. Should i apply the menzerna IP with an orange lakewood pad or the white. I also plan to use a white pad for the menzerna FP.

Thanks.

I always use orange with Menzerna IP, white for FP. It works great and keeps me from having to do as many "passes" to get the swirls out.

Meaning it doesn't get the swirls out?

Also, how hard do you have to press on it and how many passes should it take to get out light swirls and spider webbing on otherwise good paint? The instructions say alot about "lettting it do the work" and using "light pressure" but I'm not sure it applies when trying to get scratches out.
